Synopsis: The Dark Moon Child
A beast-child born on the night of the lunar eclipse is said to be special, although no one can really tell whether said child will be for good or evil. Some don't believe the legend at all... until such a child is born.
Lura Tyrec has always been strange, different... unique. She stood apart from everyone, even in her own home, amongst her brothers. Fate proved to not be her friend time and again. When she had grown, she escaped her world to search for her true home and for what she had lost in a terrible twist of Fate.
In the different worlds she ends up in, she meets many things and people, friends and enemies alike. Some forms of happiness find her, as well as the demons and dangers that exist not only outside the sanctuary of her own mind.

(note: this may change in the story itself)
"Are we... having fun?"
Lura looked up at the man through pain-glazed eyes. Her vision blurred, bordering on red, and she did not have the strength to fight the beast that would without a second thought break her limbs in a futile attempt to get free.
"Answer me," breathed the man.
She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. The sound of metal rattling would forever haunt her, with her memories of Rucran and the way he died, the way she hadn't been able to save him...
And Marin. Marin.... he had saved Atach, but he had died himself.
Life, Lura decided, was unfair. And a bitch. So many had died to save others. So many deaths, so much grief and sorrow...
But did Life or Fate care?
No.
Of course not.
They enjoyed this, the sadistic bastards.
"Come now, come now... [...] I know you can speak, my dear. Speak, or I will make you." His voice grew menacing at the end.
Lura glared at him. She wished she could rip him apart, tear him into pieces. He sickened her. She wished... she wanted to...
The beast took over in that moment, and this time she could watch the terrible scene she - the beast - was making. The beast did not care to set her to sleep; she would fight, she would kill, even if she died.
And Lura almost hoped that they would go together.
