Brief Author Bio: This is my first year doing NaNo WriMo. I've only actually been writing seriously for the past year and mostly I have only written fanfic for Gilmore Girls and Doctor Who. I do have an original short story in the works though. Apart from writing, I'm a teacher and I am also training to be an Opera Singer. It's also quite likely I'm insane to even be attempting this with Report Cards due this month. Also, I've created a community for any Wrimo's from the Doctor Who Fandom that are participating in NaNo this year (either with FanFic or Original) so we can support each other. Synopsis: What's To Come Is Still Unsure
This is a Doctor Who Fan Fic Novel. Doctor/Rose. Most of it is set Post Journey's End in Pete's World and it is a bit of a fixit with some major twists. Without giving anything away, it's esentially an epic romance between Rose and her Doctor, filled with epic adventure and a smidgeon of mystery. To say more would spoil it. Trust me, it'll be worth the wait.
Please Note: This is actually a Work in Progress so I am officially a NaNo Rebel. I will not be counting any words written prior to November 1 in my NaNo tally though and will very likely not validate. It's actually my Support Stacie Fic for Wiggiemomsi but it's grown to something much, much more. I want it finished by the end of November though so I though NaNo would help get it donr. Once it's done, I will begin posting it chapter by chapter on my Live Journal. A progress bar with the actual fic word count (not just my NaNo words) can be found on the sidebar of my LJ

Note: Since I'm not planning to validate, I'm actually writing two stories that I'm counting in my NaNo total. The first 6386 words I've counted are for an original short story that I've been working on for the past two months for an anthology. It's a fantasy/adventure/romance about a girl in her early 20's who discovers a secret that changes her life forever.
Excerpt: What's To Come Is Still Unsure
From the yet untitled original short story:
"We talked a lot that afternoon, long conversations about every topic possible. I told him about my experiences growing up in foster homes, though I was careful to leave out any details that would make it obvious that I was not from this time period. He told me about how hard it had been growing up as the only boy of the family. His father was a trade merchant, often gone for weeks at a time, and it had always fallen to him to pick up the slack and be the man of the family.
As we talked, we slowly started to touch each other a little more. It started with simple hand holding and progressed to pats on arms, brushing hair from eyes and even a few hugs."
