Synopsis: The World Scorcher.
A young college student, Jeri Joper, was happily pulling doughnuts out of the fryer one one day when a wizard burst into her life, and changed everything. After barely surviving an encounter with an evil knight and many, many wicked little monsters, she has to somehow kill a Demigod, and find her way home.

"How in hell do you guys have boxes of ammo laying around? You don't have guns!"
"A wizard can find anything." The wizard said. "The problem is finding a use for what he finds." I nodded, and set the box on the dash.
"Okay, Mr. Find-everything, you've bought your self a ride on the Mustang express." I climbed out, and pulled the driver seat forward enough for him to climb in. Then, once he'd climbed in, I shoved the seat back and climbed in, too. "Hang onto your buttons." I said.

"Jeri! No!" Sam said, reaching towards me as I pulled the trigger. That guy went off the floor so fast he left his dignity behind, and everyone in the bar was staggering backwards, gasping, yelling, and screaming at me. I put my revolver away, and pointed at the floor. "Now, Eric, look at the floor."
When his eyes followed my finger, they spread wide open. The hole was likely only big enough to lose a toe in, but the fact that it was a really hard floor made my point clearly. "Mind your mouth?" I asked, and when he looked up at me and nodded, I smiled. "Pleased to have you on board." I then went back to my steak as Sam just stood there shaking his head.
"One of these days, Jeri, you're going to get us all killed." Sam said, waving Eric off and sitting down across from me.
"Hey, a girl's gotta have some respect." I said. "That's the easiest way to get it."
