With classes coming to an end, a mother who thinks she's no more useful than a house cat, and nothing but a blank slate for a destiny, Terayah has nothing better to do than to head straight into a country plauged by war. And she's bringing her gang of misfit friends with her.

Excerpt:

It’s kind of like this: every person, and higher living being has a body, mind, and soul. The body and mind are finite, but the soul is immortal. When a someone or something dies, their soul goes to Sanctuary and becomes refreshed. It removes the memories of the previous life, and then it returns to a new body for a new life. There are a select few people who can see other past lives, a few more that can see their own past lives. Past lives can play an important role in dictating many elements of your life like what magic you have an affinity for, who your friends are, and who you fall in love with, what you’re good at, many things that define who you are, but in general, it is said that past lives don’t matter. I’m a firm believer of this, what is past is past, however, my past lives are going to affect me more that I ever imagined.
