Anything with a kind of primal, tribal feel to it. Spiritually infused music, like Live. Although I try to avoid music during the actual writing, as it tends to distract me. Non-noveling interests: Anti-civilization, self-sufficient living, voluntary simplicity, indigenous cultures, handcrafts, domestic arts, photography, journaling, being fully human. |

Brief Author Bio: I've been writing since childhood, and avoiding writing since early adulthood. I've tried my hand at fiction, and nothing ever seems to come. I'm just not one of those people who can make up a story, but I can paint and portray an existing story like nobody's business. I'm interested in writing that brings something positive out into the world, something that helps people, including me, push past the pain and despair of modern life. I'm using NaNoWriMo to give me that push I need to get cracking on the non-fiction work thats been rolling around in my head and heart for a while now. |
