Synopsis:

A new opiate has hit the city streets, promising the most satisfying high you've ever had. Not only has it saturated the less savory parts of society, but also made its way into the upper classes with unprecidented speed. Unfortunately, sooner or later all Angel Tears users' hallucinations take a turn toward the terrifying; visons of demons so strong, the addicts mutilate thier own bodies. The rumor on the street is the nightmare visages are real and the only way to see the monsters coming is to keep taking the drug.

Cooper Delaney is a detective specializing in cold cases, hiding from all the victims of the world when the neice he hasn't seen in over a decade streaks back into his life - addicted and caught up in the deepest recesses of the Angel Tears underworld. She's seeing the demons, but is it really too late for Cooper to save her from herself? Or something else?
