The battle between the plant-like ancient Druids and the predatory new-age Vampire courses across a family history as they find their lives and destiny ripped apart by things they can barely control.

He was a strange man, bent over with age. Grey hair frazzled like a madman and bright eyes that were always smiling but remained intense, scrutinizing the world for its treasures and faults. I always remember him turning faults into treasures.I guess I always had a respect for his secrets as he taught me to have respect for my own. There are lots of things I will never tell.
