A pair of brown eyes filled with pain and shock flashed through his memories as silent screams echoed through his thoughts. Screams of the innocent dying. Screams of those he was powerless to protect. He swirled the amber liquid around in his glass. The memories may not have faded, but the rage that fueled him on, has. Will he ever be able to forget? He thought of those violet eyes flashing up at him with laughter and innocence; maybe, just maybe for a little while.
