Synopsis: Gothic Pink

Bastion, his brother Dante, and their band of demon slaying Protectors are hired by the brothers' hometown of Pilk to protect the city from a new and more powerful demon lord. Bastion and Dante return to find 500 years has changed their farming town into a city of entertainment excess. But the new turns out to be the old when it's revealed the new demon lord is actually Bastion's old demon slaying partner, Santeen, now turned demon.

Before arriving in Pilk, Bastion was at the end of his psychic strength after 500 years of demon slaying and had been courting Death (literally). A new, eager recruit only reminds Bastion how much he has given up in the service of cities who want the protectors' protection but have little respect for them. But, much to Bastion's brother Dante's relief, it's Santeen who revitalizes Bastion with a determination to continue until Santeen is dead. Unfortunately this is only temporary and Bastion's success is likely to mean his doom.
