Brief Author Bio:

When I'm not in a darkened room, I am continually pushing myself to deafness in as short a time as possible through incredibly loud techno and Japanese pop, interspersed recently with music in English from the 1980s. The 1980s happen to be the era in which I was born and, while not having much interest in anything at the time but legos and cats, remember the original Indiana Jones and Star Wars movies with fondness.

Any characters in any stories who resemble to any degree Harrison Ford are solely the fault of my conditioning from an early age.

When I *am* in a darkened room, I open all the windows to the degree deemed safest in a Zombie apocalypse, light at least three sources of fire, read DC comics centering on the Justice League International era and up, and regret not writing.

Come November, one of these things may change. I could close a window.

If things change to the impossible degree that a hundred years motivation propels me wildly into the world of writing, brace yourself to see humor where there should be no humor, very little or badly executed drama, and long tangents centering on small details easily missed by someone whose mind is not so driven to recall details of, for instance, a given character's favorite food or blood type ten years after any and all interest in given series has waned.

I have discovered a recent interest in snuggies, expensive chocolates, and the idea that any character can be redeemed within themselves, but am having trouble finding circumstances in which said character can prove their intentions true and valid..

Excerpt:

Harry groaned again, rubbing at his bushy eyebrows with an equally enormous hand. “Just about the time some fool says that, things get interesting. Supers, if they have any sense in 'em at all, hate interesting. It never turns out well for at least one person, and the next time you meet up, that one person has friends, who usually have pistols or lasers or some other such nonsense.”
There was a sudden rocking, like a boat caught adrift in a sudden storm, and John took a moment to catch the eyes of his fellow passengers. “Computer,” he queried, searching through a meager supply of science fiction shows for whatever supplication he could manage, “would you be so kind as to tell us where we are?”
“Answer: You are being transported to a safe facility. Authorities have been notified. Please do not panic.”
“Well, at least it's polite” Peter mumbled, running one hand through his hair before flicking it back behind him. “Okay, how about this - “Computer”', he started, “Where are you taking us?”
“Insufficient Security Clearance. You are safe.”
“Why are you taking us somewhere?”
“Insufficient Security Clearance.”
“What's the capital of Belize?”
“Insuffi...” There was a pause. “Very funny.”
