Synopsis: Brunch with Chaos

A being who can't stay dead, an ethereal spirit of snow, a magic user who travels through dimensions for a living, a dragon attending college, his angelic lover, the Lord of Hell, and Death. They somehow manage to find a slice of normalcy among each other in ways that tosses the very definition of the word right out the window.

Excerpt: Brunch with Chaos

"The friction between Chaos and Order is a bit more universal, and also rises from a necessity to Existence. However, that doesn't really apply to this situation." Mo`re cocked his head to listen for a bit, assuring himself the others were still occupied in the kitchen. "Luce isn't a universal element of Chaos. In fact, he's quite a specialised being, one in opposition to Her and Her alone. I think even if he were offered a wider sphere of influence, he wouldn't take it. Forget everything you've ever heard about him, because I know he both loves and is in love with Her, and would not do anything to take himself away from Her unless She asked him to. So with that established, I can safely say that no, he won't react to Win's Innocence, which may very well be more universal that Luce's aura, even if that aura is stronger. I think Luce being so focused to Her influence also gives him an immunity to Winter. Consider the sordid affair with Saresh--"

"Don't mention that name around us, ever." Taija's eyes flashed, and for a moment Mo`re swore he was looking in a mirror. While he'd accepted his own reoccurring psychosis, he had no desire to see it in his siblings. That was a burden too heavy to share.
