Brief Author Bio: Cheloya works as a technical writer, which is awesome fun if you like screaming at computers, which she does. One day she will be able to afford a house and a cat all her own, but today is not that day. |

Synopsis: Rocfall / Book!verse
[2004] FAILED. A fantasy novel which started in a place called Rocwood and ended up petering out around the five thousand word mark because it was essentially a world designed after the fashion of the Zelda games. Several characters and concepts have since been rescued from it, but the world itself will probably never see the light of day.
[2005] WON. Against the Moon, Take One. In which I start with the wrong protagonist at the wrong time and proceed to write almost exclusively about two minor characters, Hiru and Sanga.
[2006] WON. Against the Moon, Take Two. In which I start with one of the right protagonists, still at the wrong time, and still proceed to write almost exclusively about Hiru and Sanga. You would think I could take the hint.
[2007] WON. Bonnie and Clyde, a Petshop of Horrors AU. In which Papa D goes that little bit extra crazy and decides that he'd really rather be without a father than without a son.
[2008] FAILED. Faith and Feather, a Final Fantasy VII fic. Started it in 2002, updated until about 2006, and then left to stagnate at approx. 200 000 words in favour of passing classes at university, and continuing to write almost exclusively about Hiru and Sanga. Impossible to complete during NaNo 08, given exams and assignments, but kick-starting is better than nothing.
Started again on a fresh and cracky idea on Nov 25! Wrote 31186 words inside four days! It was fucking awesome!
[2009] PENDING. I seem to be doing several novels this year. Oops?
The first is the 2004 NaNovel all grown up. Rocfall is about a collection of warring factions to the north of a large and prosperous kingdom of elves, or, more precisely, about a healer who is pillaged from one faction and another, and comes into the possession of an exile from said elf kingdom. War, tragedy, moral fog, and possibly undead hordes, ensue.
The second is unnamed, but involves a man who stole his name from the Book of the Dead and has lived long enough that he's ready to put it back again, a soul called Lucien who is more than a little demonic and certainly more than a little mad, and a Golem who is powered by iPod.
