Brief Author Bio: I'm just your average, visually impaired artist, singer, performer and all-'round art nerd- who's a bit silly, a bit brainy, just the teensiest bit flaky, a bit driven, and a bit too "eclectic" for her own bloody good. ;) I'm a total dreamer and romantic, a bit of a gypsy at heart, & I love keeping the kid in me well-nourished and alive. I believe in lots of things (including myself on the odd occasion ;)), and I'm passionate about a great deal, too. ;) I love to travel, dig fantasy & horror, (zombies, vampires, ghosts, witches.. all the way up to faeries, mermaids, elves & unicorns), plus I enjoy learning about others' languages, cultures & spirituality. I'm big into animals, the arts in all its many forms, and the idea of following your heart- no matter where it takes you. :) |

Synopsis: Hell Hath No Fury
There's a reason for the cliché. So many people slight others out of hand, and never think of the emotional, physical, or potentially fatal consequences of their actions. In this novel, our "heroin" goes a little off the deep end, and decides to take matters of vengeance and payment for mistreatment into her own hands...
From scene to scene, be ready for gory details, horrific descriptions of torture, and imagery that is inventive, unusual, and gruesome. No brutal nuance is spared here- but be sure this isn't just a book about revenge being best served cold. There is a deep amount of heart beating at the core of this story, and although you may enjoy thrilling to the scenes of emotional release and violent catharsis, every drop of vengeance has its own meaning and purpose.
Excerpt: Hell Hath No Fury
She tore his face off like it was the last thing standing between herself and mortality. Her ferocity would have made a starved, maddened and ravenous jackal pause and take notice.. and maybe even back away a few paces.., His flesh, his ripping tendons, the parts of skin and bone trying to stay together made wet, squishing, snapping noises, and somewhere in the back of her mind, she likened it to that moment when you tear the leg off a newly cooked Christmas turkey- its meat-laden sinews trying desperately to stay tethered to its moorings of muscle and bone.
Despite the bits of gore getting caught in her eyelashes, smearing her sight and spattering into her mouth, she could not deny the satisfaction of making this animal pay for the pain, misery, and long hours of silent anguish he’d caused her to suffer. He hadn’t felt anything then- but his slowing, jerky movements and flailing, fluttering hands told her that he was most certainly feeling something now… She took a piece of gelatinous gore that had found its way into her mouth and bit down on it with satisfaction. Yes.. he was certainly feeling something….
