Synopsis: The Mosaic
Sedna Altus has arrived at the palace of Marna to formalize her betrothal to the Crown Prince, Kaito Muircha. With the help of Glendwr, Kaito conducts a tour for Sedna and her friend Meri, focusing on a mosaic which explains how the Marnians acquired magic amulets, which allow land-dwellers to survive underwater, thereby enabling trade and treaties to be formed between the sea-bound Marnians and their surface neighbors.
An undersea earthquake damages the precious mosaic. It is then revealed that this is the source of the magic. As King Kendall (Kaito's father) sends to the wizard Sindri for help, the quartet of friends embark on a trip to find the items needed to repair the artifact. It is a race against time to save the Marnian magic and the lives of those land-dwellers now trapped in the palace where the effects of the amulets remain strongest.
