It was 2 am on a cold October morning when Will Foling almost ran over the naked girl lying in the middle of the road. His mind was elsewhere, going over that night's rave-up with Rita. Things had been going well lately, which made the fight all the more surprising. Will shook his head at the memory of her screaming voice and sighed. She should be sitting next to him right now, her hand resting on his thigh and her laughter filling the truck. Instead he was alone, the only one on this dark country road.
