This will be the story of a painter fallen from grace. His name will not sound familiar, nor will it ring any bells loud enough for all to hear properly. No, he held no important role during the Italian renaissance. Just a name of another painter and a tombstone long gone. So there you are, you know at least what to expect from this tale. No grand deeds, no large sums of money and absolutely nothing to write home about. Then why, you may wonder, undergo the trouble of writing this biography of one who seems as unimportant as a slug is slow? I tell you, because despite his inability to create the world as he saw in his fantasies, he was a man whose life is worth to know in more detail.
