Kai has little slips of paper stickered inside his passport allowing him unfettered entry into other sovereign nations, proving that neither border security nor cynicism are anything like they used to be. Kai is a standard twenty-something writer finishing a degree in something that is totally unrelated to writing. He has lived in big cities, small cities, and inbred coal towns, and now spends a hefty portion of his time terrorizing the developing world with his presence. He has a penchant for writing in obscure, near-dead fandoms, and has held an awe-inspiringly versatile set of jobs from teaching gymnastics to making coffee (like, professionally) to politics on Capitol Hill.
