Synopsis: Traveller from the Otherworld
Attempting something darker this year! I have NO CLUE whether I'll be able to do this since I usually write something "funny" (not really funny, but un-serious, y'know) every few sentences, so wish me luck!
But perhaps you should check again on November 1st because I might still change my plans. Who knows?
Excerpt: Traveller from the Otherworld
Chapter One Reminescence
The train glided through the mists. It went through glades, valleys, over gorges, all in the same pace, and never halting.
Until it started slowing down.
The passengers got ready, packed their few belongings into their duffel bags. Once the train had come to a stop, they got off.
She followed them out. She had never expected there to be a station. This one was overgrown with plants, deserted by humankind, but still, it was majestic, a relic of an age long past.
She saw the three others, the only others who had ever been there in her life, depart in different directions. A feeling of despair was soon replaced by a strange calmness. She saw that there was a road before her. As she looked at the others, she noticed that one of them, the woman, turned around for a moment, and nodded. A sign, telling her to follow the road, follow her instincts.
She started walking.
