Brief Author Bio: I am a Finnish university student majoring in English. I have a passion for writing (shocking, isn't it?), but drawing and playing video games are also my favorite pastimes. I am mainly a fanfiction writer, but I do write original fic now and then... just not for this year's NaNo. ;-) I'm obsessed with learning all sorts of quirky things and I love doing research that has nothing to do with what I'm supposed to be doing at any given time. In other words, I'm a procrastinator of the highest order, but at least I like to think I procrastinate in a useful way... maybe. |

Synopsis: Time Outrun
[Tales of Symphonia fanfiction, Renegade-centric]
The Renegades are in grave danger, and there is no time to save them… unless they bend the rules. It is a mad chase against the clock, and they're losing.
Yuan recruits Lloyd and Zelos to help him save the Renegades, but things end up going awry. Botta is doing all he can to put things right, but it may prove to be a task beyond his power. Even Kratos is at a loss as to how to reverse the irreversible, which seems to be the only way to correct all this madness...
Excerpt: Time Outrun
"Woah," Zelos muttered as he came down the stairs, feeling for the walls. "It's dark in here."
"We're underground," Yuan replied, watching the corridor ahead for any sign of movement as he waited for Lloyd to follow. "Hope you're not afraid."
"Who, me?" Zelos snorted, but his voice fell flat in the narrow corridor. He nearly jumped out of his skin when Lloyd collided into him. "Oof! Hey, look where you're going, buddy!"
"Sorry! Sorry, Zelos," Lloyd apologized hastily, "I didn't see you there."
"If you two are ready, let's head out," Yuan called to them, and Zelos was surprised to note he had already covered quite a distance and was now waiting for them where the corridor took a turn to the left. The only light around there was that of the lightning that surrounded Yuan's hand; it was casting eerie shadows over every surface. Zelos shuddered.
"Sorry. We're coming!" Lloyd called and pushed past Zelos, who quickly took after him, determined not to be left alone in the dark as Yuan turned to continue his way down, further into the long-abandoned building.
Zelos couldn't help it but, as he saw the flickering light reflected off the crumbling walls and Yuan's dark cape swishing behind him ominously, he had a very strong feeling that he was walking to his death.
