Love is a funny thing… it’s a powerful thing. It can bring you to tears… it can make you angry… it can change your entire world. If you really think about it, and REALLY think about what falling in love means you might find yourself a little scared. Not in the terror-stricken sense, but in the ‘what will happen once I do fall in love’ sense. That fear isn’t a bad thing, really.

Love also doesn’t make sense. It can come to you at the strangest times and in the strangest ways. And during those times you’d better be ready to have your world turned upside down. For example, imagine that you’ve nearly given up on love and have pretty much sworn to yourself that you’re just not meant to experience that happiness. Then imagine that you’re just chatting away with someone online, posting witty retorts and banter and just having a good old, innocent, no strings attached time. Finally, imagine that you find a common ground with this person. You seem to have many things in common and you both know how to comfort each other in a way that no one else can.

Can you tell where this scenario is going?

These two people found each other without even trying through an online bulletin board. They started as strangers, fast become friends, and ended up falling head over heals in love with each other. But that isn’t all. They live in two different countries, albeit on the same continent, but still in two different countries.

So can you see how their worlds were turned upside down? They’d both been badly hurt by love. They’d both been shaken to their core be those betrayals. But they both ended up finding a stronger love then they ever dreamed of being a part of.

Without further ado, I bring you the story of Michael and Renee.
