Synopsis: Labryn [probably will change]

Genre: Gay Fantasy Romance

One-liner: Driven by instinct to bond with a person of questionable ethics, an empathic shapeshifter wavers between protecting himself with deception and possibly losing his beloved if that deception is discovered.

Synopsis: The Labryn are a race of magical creatures, each of whom constructs a magical labyrinth and uses it to test whether someone would be an appropriate bondmate. Driven by an increasingly strong mating instinct, the Labryn main character is sad, embarrassed, and frustrated to be turning into a childless 'old maid' who has never fallen in love with anyone. Then he meets someone new and has a major crush on them at first sight... but, unfortunately this person is the villain. Who has already kidnapped and held prisoner another magical creature for his own nefarious purposes. The main character frees this prisoner, making the villain royally pissed off at him. Does the main character have a hope of using magical trickery and shapeshifted disguises to nurture a romance, or is he setting himself up for disaster?
