Brief Author Bio:

I'm a Christian, a bicycling fool, an artist, a writer, and the mom of two grown kids. Not kids any more. My eldest is 26, my youngest is 20 and a soldier who is due to deploy to Afghanistan in March '10
I do not engage in politics, because I see political opinions as the great divider between people who would otherwise get along. Life's too short for that sort of vanity. I'll go offer my political points of view to my ballot in the voting booth. Lot of good that will do, but it's my duty as a citizen, isn't it.

Synopsis: The Gifted Horses of Anyat

Anyat has been overtaken by the enemy, its government and infrastructure destroyed. The Officers loyal to the Onyx have been executed by a deposed Senior Officer and his nephew. The Officers' horses, the Ei-Tarkhah, were allowed to go free.
Now they are riderless, and must resort to their own wits, and develop their own society so as to survive against the bloodthirsty Moakharin, the Lizards.
