Excerpt: I, Zombie
It’s all been done before, James thought as he groped around in the darkness, looking for a flashlight, a lighter, anything. You see it all the time in movies, and TV shows with a sci-fi theme. Secret government organizations create a secret research lab, secret research lab creates a potion/gas/food/juice that will induce a more peaceful population, but results in a zombie apocalypse. Of course there are survivors who fight the zombies, who are naturally the bad guys.
That sucked, especially if, like James, you turned out to be one of the zombies.
