Synopsis: The Unwilling Summon

There are things in the darkness, in the shadows. Skittering and crawling and biting and clawing. Created by hatred and fear, their gnarled fingers reaching, their lips splitting open into wide, monstrous smiles.

After the death of his father, a new world opened up to Josh Walkens. One he wants nothing to do with but one that is desperate to reach him. And moving to the town that they have been herding him towards isn’t helping.

With the help of his new friends, Josh must find out what these creatures are, what the connection is between them and his father, and what secrets the town itself is keeping. But are his friends really trying to help him? Or is their own guilt and shame creating more destruction?
