an excerpt
"Well now that that adventure is over... time to fold!" Hunter pointed at the pile and grinned at Daichi, Myles, and Nari.
The three pouted together and reluctantly set to work. They had been planning to watch something well they folded, but it turned out things OFF the TV where much more interesting. As usually seemed to happen, with so many people living in the same house. This time, the entertainment consisted of first: Armond showing up in a hole in the wall. Nari and Vanessa jumped, since they where the oens closest to it, and for the next ten minutes Hunter, Myles, and Daichi tried to figure out how to coax the animal out from the mouse hole. In the middle of trying to do that, Harmony came into the room holding Juliet, who instantly spotted the snake and lept into action.
"Ah no! Keep her away!" Hunter caught the cats tail, which earned him a hiss and nasty scratch when Juliet turned on him.
Another ten minutes was spent trying to stop the cat from catching Armond's head, the snake deciding it was fun to tease her, but by the time they got the cat away they discovered the snake had left for quieter places.
"Shoot!" Hunter sat back on his heals.
"If I find that thing in my room later-!!" Vanessa's tone left plenty of warning insinuations in the air as Hunter stood and left the room to see if he could figure out where his pet had gone.
Harmony, once again holding Juliet, plopped down on the couch beside her sister. "Juliet will protect us!" She smiled at her.
"That's not helpful to me!" Vanessa wrinkled her nose. "Especially since if Armond can't get into your room, our room is his second favourite palce to hide in! He'll probably get into my bed and-"
"Was someone looking for this animal?"
Everyone turned their heads to see Talon holding Armond in one hand, the snake trying and failing to slither up his arm, since Talon wouldn't let go of his middle. Hunter appeared a second later to take the snake, frowning a bit as he did.
"Where'd you find him?"
"In the toilet."
"What?!" Hunter nearly dropped the snake. "Gross, Armond! Totally gross!"
