Arminius Paxtornum, the Dark One of Old and Eldest of the Elderdark waited in the main chamber of his 'House of Lords' set deep in the Underdark. The room vibrated with his scornful rancor. The expectations of his order being carried out expediently was diminishing with each drip of candle wax splattering onto the cold stone floor.
