Synopsis: The Tale

Once upon a time, there was an evil queen, who made pacts with demons and eldritch abominations in return for power. Dubbed the Demon Queen of Hearts, she was strongly feared by her subjects, who were certain she would surely destroy the land. The inhabitants of the kingdom summoned the great heroes of the world forth to deal with her --

But they were busy, so instead the kingdom's fate rests on the shoulders of an elderly mad scientist with a magic watch; a boy who knows no fear; a princess who's been asleep for a hundred years; a young man who is the godson of Death; and a mad girl who's handy with a knife and an axe.
