Favorite novels: Tamora Pierce books (especially Emelan ones), Harry Potter books, Wrinkle in Time series, many lesbian books and a whole heck of a lot of other fiction and nonfiction books. I'm not a picky reader. I'm a voracious book catepillar fattening up to become a literary butterfly. I just in general stink at favourite books. I love something about every book. I'll leave it at that. :3

Favorite writers: Rachel Carson, Tamora Pierce, Jacqueline Carey, Sarah Waters, Sara Ryan, Julie Ann Peters, and many more.

Favorite music: Alanis Morissette, Alix Olson, Amanda Palmer, Amy Carol Webb, Amy Speace, Ani DiFranco, Avenue Q, The Beatles, Carbon Leaf, Carly Simon, Carole King, Cat Power, Cat Stevens, Celtic Woman, Counting Crows, Cyndi Lauper, Deep Forest, Disney Anything, The Dresden Dolls, Eliza Gilkyson, Ellis Delaney, Ember Swift, Fiona Apple, Five O'Clock Shadow, The Free Design, Gandalf Murphy & the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, Gin Blossoms, Girlyman, The Goo Goo Dolls, Janis Joplin, Jenny Owen Youngs, Joan Baez, Jupiter Sunrise, Kimya Dawson, The London Symphony Orchestra, The Loomers, Lui Collins, Mandalay, Mary Poppins, Melissa Ferrick, Meredith Brooks, Monty Python, Patty Larkin, Peter Paul & Mary, Presidents of the United States of America, Queen, Rachael Davis, Regina Spektor, RENT, Sarah Bettens, Shawn Colvin, Sheryl Crow, Simon & Garfunkel, Sixpence None the Richer, Spice Girls, Susan Werner, Suzanne Vega, Tegan & Sara, Tierney Sutton, Tori Amos, Uh Huh Her, Voltaire, Zoë Lewis, my friends and many more.

Non-noveling interests: Reading, writing, drawing, dancing, singing, nature, being barefoot, laughing, rolling around on the floor laughing, running around aimlessly, scaring my friends, being strange, plain being, ukulele.

Brief Author Bio:

I'm Kiwi / Glory Specte / cranky crocus / carbon kiwi / a whole bunch of other people.

I come from many different communities and I do far too much stuff. I adore writing. NaNoWriMo is simultaneously my sanity and insanity.

[. Who? .]
I'm Kiwi. I'm interesting. I have a quirky sense of humour. “Quirky” as an adjective is fitting for just about all of me.

I go to university in Reading, Berkshire UK, about a half hour from London. I love it there.

Synopsis: Aggie in the Rear View Mirror [WIP title]

I was a strange kid who decided to go to a strange high school. I resented crutches the way average kids resented braces (and I had those darned things too). Somehow, I made friends. I lost friends. I grew to know teachers. I learned about grammar and cell respiration, but also important things like Life, the Universe and Everything. By graduation I was a more centred, confident person...but I was also stranger, stranger than I could have imagined. Memoirs of my time working through high school, hip replacements and numerous pyjama days.
