“Then you trust me to do as I agreed?”
Timothy had to laugh out loud at that. “Trust you. Never. I would not be so insane. I do trust that you want to keep Harry alive, and that you will help me to do that. However, you will do it in the most evil way possible.”
Natasha held out his hand to Timothy. “Then we are agreed. We keep Harry alive in order for him to fulfill his destiny.”
Timothy took Natasha's hand. “We keep him alive. And if you lose people to the light, so shall it be.”
Natasha and Timothy shook hands on their deal. As Natasha turned to leave he looked back at Timothy. “You do know that Severus Snape won't be the most agreeable person to turn to the light. And his hate for Potter and his friends are what drove him to the dark.”
Timothy smiled his own secret smile. “Yes, but there is another emotion more powerful than hate, as you very well know. And I've heard a rumor that that emotion can even affect the Lord of Lies and Prince of Hate.”
“It can be tricky that way,” responded Natasha in kind. “But sometimes that's hard for someone to truly understand and act on.”
“If the King of Hell can, then all is simply not lost. Not for a mere mortal, wizard or not.”
Natasha turned back around. “Yes, but wizards can be some of the most stubborn and irritating mortals around. They seem to believe that what they want, they can get. Magic can do that to a person.”
Timothy smiled to himself and turned in the opposite direction. “Yes,” he said to himself. “But magic can only get a person so far. Who we really are is more what path we are willing to take and why. Magic is not everything. We are our choices in life. And one can always chose to turn around, no matter how far down the road one has gone. And with a wizard's longer life span, you have more time to change your path.”
Timothy wandered his way our of the inky blackness toward London, England. “I wonder what a wizard would need,” he muttered. “And if it would be too odd for me to simply make my own. I would guess a wand. That's not too hard to make, and it would be better if I make my own than have someone else do it. They would probably freak out about what kind of magic I have. And spell books. I have those in abundance.” Timothy wandered off into the blackness muttering to himself about what he would need to go to Hogwarts and fit in as a student.
