an excerpt
As I lay my wounded head upon the piece of parchment, I could only hope that my blood spilled with the contents of mind. The gag in my mouth preventing me from crying out. My chest rose and fell as I breathed heavily, ignoring the intense pain and focusing on painting with my thoughts that leaked out rather quickly. My head screamed as my mind raced, and my skull bled, as my blood pooled. Frustration with the short time I had left enveloped my senses, and I trashed my arms about, kicking my bare feet into nothing and moaning unintelligibly. My eyes welled with tears as I tried desperately to tell my story. And then, it ended.
