He thought he was running away from his past, but what he found was his destiny.

Excerpt: Orenji Pan

Mikoto sighed again, his forehead in his head. “I’m sorry, Kikuno... what I overheard was that Aen killed him.”

“...What?” Kikuno’s voice was icy. “She killed him? Are you sure you heard right?”

“She said... she said she had put him in her grave. I don’t know why, but... that’s what I heard her say to Hiatari.”

“Hiatari knew about it?!” Kikuno growled. “When I see that bitch—”

“Kikuno! Calm down!” Masami said quickly.

“She killed my brother! I swear, when I see her, I’m going to—”

“Do nothing,” Lei interjected. “There is nothing you can do to Aen, she would kill you at a moment’s notice. Only through the Ten can she be killed, and that is what we must focus on.” His eyes softened. “I know how much it hurts, and how angry you feel — there is nothing I would like more than to see Aen’s head parted from her body. But we cannot act alone, or we will fall.”
