Title: Cocoa at the Library: A Sophia Brunswick Novel (well, it's a working title)
Setting: New York City, mostly Brooklyn, mostly Park Slope
Main character's name: Sophia Brunswick (duh)
Main character's age: 16
Atmosphere/mood of story: Cozy, like McCall Smith's "The Sunday Philosophy Club"

Crime in question? Culprit? Any other characters or aspects at all? Bah, who needs to know those? This is NaNo!

Go, Belgaer! It sounds like you're all set! I WAS going to ask about the crime, the culprit, motives, other suspects, etc., but I see that you're taking a "No plot? No problem!" approach to it all. Now you just need it to be November first!

My basics are going to be five pounds of Peet's coffee and the opening scene. This month, I'm going to think of the scene. November 1st, I walk into it. Reductionist no plot, no problem!
