I'm getting so excited about NaNoWriMo this year, and especially since I've moved to a bigger city where there's liekly to me more than just me nanoing!
Anyone in Kelowna? Anyone know any all-night cafe's good for nanoing in?

Hey Kelownians (I love that)! I see that you guys are sort of lacking in numbers this year so I'm extending a friendly hand out to you guys especially both because I love Kelowna and because it's really close to Kamloops.
I'd love to come and hang out with you awesome Kelowna NaNo-ers this year as often as I can; probably do a writing session or two on the weekend if I can swing it. So let me know what you guys are up to so that I can tag along. :)

Thanks for the offer elenya! I've sent Craig McLuckie (Chair of Okanagan College's English Dept.) an email about the program, and hopefully he'll be able to inspire some new recruits. I'll definitely post something when we've got something going down, down here.
If we can't get enough people, maybe we should make a super session and meet in vernon with those guys. That would work out pretty good for me if we had to do that.

Alrighty guys, let's try to set something up for next weekend (weekend of the 10th). I love Kelowna (even if I'm in the rival city) so I'm all for doing a bit of writing with you awesome Kelownians.
Let's make it for the afternoon on Saturday, your choice of place. Just let me know in advance so that I can haul my butt over to google maps to determine where to go and how to get there from Kamloops.
I'll send you Kelownians/Penticton peeps some NaNoMail so that we can figure out what to do for next weekend. :)

Sounds good :) I'm still pretty new to Kelowna, so I don't know of any places with god seating. My other drawback is that I'll have to get there by bus! So advance notice is needed for me too, so I can plan out how I'll get there in time :)

Bumping this up to let you guys know that the write in is on Saturday at the Blenz Coffee, detailed in the Event posting. If you guys could RSVP to let me know if you're going to be there or not, that'd be fantastic. If not enough people want to go, I can re-schedule for another week or another day but I'd hate to make a special trip to Kelowna just to have no one show!
It'd be tragic. :P
