First off, hello all!
This is my first NaNoWriMo, but I've been interested and anxiously waiting since the end of last November!

I was checking out LA's page and was wondering about how you all felt about Write-ins, Kick-Offs, Mid-month Meet-ups and a TGIO party. Now, I am new, and therefore totally unsure about how these things work.

Anyone interested in organizing one?
Or willing to enlighten me about how this process works? xD

Sincerely,
AlmostEmerson.

I'd be interested if there was one in my area... Bakerfield might be a bit of a drive for me right now though. Might be able to swing it.

I'd be game for something in Bakersfield, probably either Barnes & Noble or Borders would be great, maybe even a Starbucks.

Bakersfield would be REALLY awesome. I'd come...whether it's at Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, or a random back alley...I'm SO there.

I might be interested in a Bakersfield meet-up depending on date and time and whatnot...but, um, no back alleys please and, really, only if people are gonna show up.

That said...any place like Borders or Barnes & Noble would work. Or even one of the Starbucks.

I'd love to have something a little closer. You can use my office at Reedley College. Okay maybe not. Bit small. Seriously, I probably could find space somewhere for a write-in if I had time to put in the facilities request. Saturday's it's usually no problem to find a room somewhere. Weeknights its a bit harder, but probably could get the student lounge or something.

But probably Fresno or Visalia would be more convenient for most people up here.

For those in Bakersfield who are interested I'm sure we can use Borders. They've even got tables and chairs--very conducive to noveling. =]
If any of you really are interested give me some dates! We'll try to plan something :3
NaNoMail me if you'd like.

After all, all he did was string together a lot of old, well-known quotations.

Awesome! Would you like to try for a Friday or Saturday thing?
What exactly shall we do? Have coffee and discuss our progress so far? =]
Lets brainstorm, guys!
I think that the 10th sounds like a good day, how about you? =]

Terri, I see you're in Reedley, which is about a half hour from me, if I take Academy Avenue all the way there. I live in the unincorporated Township of Academy and we use a Clovis post address, so . . . would you like to meet somewhere in the middle or in Clovis, or I could also drive down there.

Might be an idea. I'm not sure where would be a good middle location. Got any ideas?
