The weekend dates would be in the afternoon, and the Thursday date would be in the evening.

And if you can't make it to any of the dates... well, sucks be =( We'll just have to see you at write-ins and the Mid Nov Meetup!
At the Kick Off, we will be having our traditional Eye of Argon reading... all newbies are encouraged to read first from this tome.
We'll also continue the Adventures of Little Tommy as well as mess around with a few more writing games to kickstart those of us with still no ideas!

Saturday sounds good to me, that way there's no pressure for us to get our butts in gear for Nov. 1. Where would it be? I'm a 'newbie', as you put it, but a kickoff sounds like fun, and I wouldn't mind meeting other locals. (Dear God, I sound like a dating ad XD)

Alas, Thursday is the only date I'll be available -- I'm going to Mount Alison this weekend to give a talk about Luis Cernuda's "Poemas para un cuerpo".
Good to see everybody once again, and I hope things will work out so that I can be at the kick-off.
