Welcome to the Bulgaria forum. Not a lot of us right now, but we'll fix that! Let me know if there's anything I can do for you!

Hi, so glad there is one for Bulgarians. :) Anyway, I will be doing this for the first time... So, is this where I'll be whining and pulling out my hair during November? Any pointers or words of wisdom before the grand torture? :P

Hi there!

Wow. Nano time again. Attempt number 3 for me, and I'm feeling positive but not optimistic (sharing a laptop with the ML does not bode well for my word count). But: Здрасти to everyone! Good Luck! As for words of wisdom: Don't edit. Ever. This little piece of advice got me from 4,000 words my first year to over 10,000 my second year. Also, no worries. Even if you don't make your count NaNo is a terrible, tortuous, wonderful experience!

Talk to you later!

Wow! So glad to see so many people participating! It looks like there's a lot of first-timers, so let me explain a little bit about how this works. I'm the ML (Municipal Liaison) for Bulgaria - which means I moderate the forums, answer questions, and organize get-togethers and write-ins. However, since I think we're spread all over the country, our get-togethers might have to be virtual! Anyway, you can always NaNoMail me any questions you have, and feel free to come to the forums (when you're not writing of course) and vent or brag or ask advice. The best advice I think I can give you is: don't edit yourself. Just write it down. Get the word count. It might be a crazy piece of junk by November 30th, but it will be YOUR piece of crazy junk. And hopefully, it will be 50,000 words long! It's a great ride, no matter what! Happy Writing!

Congratulations on winning.

Here in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada it is snowing, cold, and very windy as we head into December.

I hope I did not upset anyone by coming here and saying hello. My partner is from Bulgaria and I was very happy to see that writers in Bulgaria were taking part in this novel writing madness.

Wishing you a very happy and safe holiday season,

Marie (KnightStar)
