I know we have writers in the Covington area - even if we don't have a library right now. Where are you, and what are you writing?

I consider myself a Covington writer though I work in Maple Valley and live just outside of the Covington line on the East Hill by Mattson Jr. High. I'm writing a historical novel for my nanowrimo project. How about you?

I'm near the Maple Valley area and also thinking about a historical novel. This is my very first time doing NaNoWriMo, and I'm very excited about this.

I'm a Maple Valley writer, and I'm writing a (slightly futuristic) fantasy.

Anyone meeting at Cutter's Point Sunday morning at 8? (Cutter's Point Coffee is in the Fred Meyer strip mall in Covington.)

Hey! I'm a Covington writer and first time NaNoWriMoer. I'm writing a YA urban fantasy, and I'm very excited to have this opportunity to blow off homework to write with a semi-legitimate excuse!

Great! Have you started? How's it going?
Two of us met in Covington last Sunday morning. We're trying to write 12,500 words by next Sunday. I'm behind already! (Pity we have all these other commitments, right?)

Mine's going pretty well so far. At the moment, I have 9090 words, and I just changed my main character's name yet again (third name she's had so far). I'm behind too, but I'm hoping to catch up this weekend. Prior commitments do seem to get in the way of things. How are you all doing with your stories?

Anybody meeting Sunday morning at 8:00? Two of us met last week at Cutter's Point Coffee, by Fred Meyer. It's on Kent-Kangley, just east of I-18.
My word count so far is pathetic, but I'm coming anyway. I'll do better this week!
