Hi, NaNo writers,
I'm Sheila, a college English instructor in Craig, and this is my first NaNoWriMo. I've found a post from Marian in Meeker, so that's at least two of us in this corner of the state. Anyone else?

Sheila, Hello,
Yay! It's nice to know I'm not the lone writer here on the range.
May you be blessed with many many words this month and may they all have meaning!!

Thanks, Marian. It looks like you're well on your way to those many words. I'm working on a fantasy that I was supposed to write last summer while I was off from school, but I couldn't seem to get going without a push--and I think NaNoWriMo is it.

Hello Sheila,
I agree with NaNoWriMo being the push. It's been a great motivator so far. I hope to make it to the end with the same gusto!
A fantasy sounds intriguing.
Keep writing!

Marian, I went to your website and saw that you write Christian fiction, which is what mine is (sort of a Christian romantic fantasy). It takes place in an alt-Earth in which Eve didn't eat the forbidden fruit, but one of her and Adam's descendents did, thus creating two kinds of humans: the normal, broken, sinner-by-birth kind and an immortal, sinless kind. I hope this will be the first in a series of novels. My hero is descended from both lines, and my heroine is the private detective who is helping him discover his heritage. I'm at 10,400 words now, which would be right on track, except I need to be ahead because I'll be on vacation for 3 days and won't get to write at all.
How are you doing and what kind of book are you working on?

Sheila,
I sent you an email via the NaNoWriMo mail system.
I hope you're doing well and the words are still flowing!
Take care and be blessed,
