Hello - just like to introduce myself - new to nanowrimo - joined late. Written the first 1000 or so words and posted as an extract with no editing. Very liberating, very scary.
I see there's a meeting in Darlo on Saturday 10th - will try to be there - white haired bloke - a bit like Sean Connery but with charisma, charm and good looks removed in favour of large stomach, humorous sartorial sense and face like a surprised barn owl. Hoot.
Are there any other meetings planned?

Would be great to see you at the weekend. I can organise some more events - we'll certainly have to have a Grand Finale party of some sort - I'll keep you posted!
I am a bit of a rubbish municpal liaison to be honest - I am working part time and trying to do my PhD and write this novel, so I am not around very often. I've said before on here, if any of you want to get together for impromptu write-ins in places more convenient, then feel free! its not compulsory for me to be there or to approve them! :-)

Hello, also a newbie and somewhat overawed! Also joined late and working on making everyone feel better with my absurdly low word count...also in danger of creating ridiculously slushy novel when i had such great plans! Must get back the The Point.
