Love the idea of insanowrimoers. It imples the need for a straight-jacket. :)

My sister (labrattish) and I both think the insanowrimoers, because hey! All of us are insane (that's what she got out of it, before she figured out that it means in SA) although she decided to make a change in the way the word looks: (in)SA.N(e)O.WRI.MO
Also she suggests (after telling her about the conversation itself) that we use the following as a slogan (although she goes: ITS CORNY!!!): "where the world revolves around whatever we write it to"

... and then realizing that it was as "corny" as she thought she went on to say for us to do (so all of these are from her... though she's to lazy to post it herself!):
-What happens when minor characters get a mind of their own
-Being held captive by minor characters wanting more detail
-Being held captive till 50k
-Memories of 50k...still pending
-Who needs sleep when your characters can do it for you (with an optional- ":50,000 words in one month")
-50,000 in one month: An insomniacs best friend...
-Words! Words! Words! --50k to be exact

And for the shirt style why not make them on Zazzle? Then we can make them all one colour but in different styles. If you want some one to make a logo I'm all for it :3 all you have to do is tell me what you want. (...and all this when we are both supposed to be doing essays xD)

Indeed. Which implies a shirt with long sleeves, so they can be tied in the back. };) But seriously, since you'd have to be crazy to try to write a novel in 30 days, insanowriomers is certainly appropriate.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing... if you use it right.

I think insanowrimoers (or however the heck you spell it) is great! But something should imply that we are from San Antonio also.....

But that was a great idea. I would most definitely buy one! =)

As I went to work, I missed the part about the world revolving around "Us." However, Vikee filled me in. I like the t-shirt Idea. I think Vikee used that Zazzle thingamajig to do our DDY t-shirts, and I certainly love my DDY t-shirt. I'd buy a NaNo t-shirt.

What about a line drawing of a guy (or gal) in a straight jacket with only one hand exposed with a feather quill pen dripping with ink onto a sheet of parchment to give visual aid to the overlaid lettering?

I've got a pretty cute graphic that might work. I'll try and get it scanned, but I think Jami's seen it. It's a chibi-demoness with huge eyes holding a pencil dripping blood.

I also have a chibi pirate demon firing an oversized shotgun that shoots erasers (like the kind that top pencils) and a chibi ninja demon fighting with a ballpoint pen. I'll scan them at work tomorrow and post a picture.

Also, I vote that any profits made be donated to nanowrimo. :)

and for sure. XD I need to look at the exact setup on it, we may be able to set it so there's no profits made on them at all, which personally, I'd prefer, but any money off it will be sent to Nano HQ with a list of all ya'lls names for the donors page.

I'd like to see the crazy straightjacket design done in a chibi style. Just someone sitting on the floor leaning against the wall of a padded cell with swirly eyes and maybe an old fashioned typewriter in front of them.

The slogan can be: 30 days, 50,000 words, sanity optional.

ooh very cool too! :)

The only thing I'd suggest is taking off the 2007, because (at least) like wearing my shirts year after year, and while I'll make exceptions, I generally don't wear dated ones
