Well, I'm bored as well as curious, and I suffer from writer's block.
Soooo, I decided that I want to know a bit about you, your novel, and ... your characters!
Hello, how are you?
What's your first name?
How old are you?
Chocolate or vanilla? What about strawberry?
Is this your first time doing NaNoWriMo?
Do you like it so far?
Do you think you might hit 50k on time this month?
How is your novel comming along... good? Bad?
What genre is it? Mood?
How main characters do you have so far?
What's your main[est] character's name?
Do you have a favorite character? If so, what's their name? What role do they have?
What's your antagonists name?
Are there any anti-heros in your novel?
What point of view is it (first person, thrid person, alternating first person)?
Is your plot planned, or random?
Heh, well, I shouldn't be so demanding. I'll answer these, too. Here's my answers!
Hello, how are you?
Oh, hi. I'm quite fantastic, thanks. XD
What's your first name?
Trish, though people have taken to calling me "Bacon"
How old are you?
18, but I act much younger. Heh.
Chocolate or vanilla? What about strawberry?
Chocolaaaaate!
Is this your first time doing NaNoWriMo?
Nope, this is my third time.
Do you like it so far?
Eeeeeh... sometimes, haha.
Do you think you might hit 50k on time this month?
...At this rate? No. But it would be awesome if I did! ...Maybe I should stop distracting myself! Fwahaha!
How is your novel comming along... good? Bad?
Well, it's good, but it's... not alot. I need to get the goin', eh?
What genre is it? Mood?
It's an action/tragedy, mediveal/fantasy type. Right now it's a touch on the happy, could-be-worse side. I plan on making it happy and light, then casting it deep into a swirling vortex of eeeeee-vile doom and dispair! BWAHAHAH! ... er, right, on with the answers. -clears throat, blushes-
How main characters do you have so far?
Er, so far? Two. Last year's NaNo had EIGHT! That was way too many....
What's your main[est] character's name?
Ashlyn and Aeron - later their names change to Ash and Sear.
Do you have a favorite character? If so, what's their name? What role do they have?
So far I like Ezvrynex, Kryexyn, and Xeryzvyn. Don't ask me how to pronounce them, I can barely even spell them. XD I like them for their names. They're my main-character's obstacle but-not-villains. ...Yeah.
For an easier answer; I like Karigm (later changes his name to Light), because he's just so cool ;) He's SECRETLY Ash's brother, and he's a Commander in the army she's enlisted in.
What's your antagonists name?
...I don't have one yet? XD I need to get one, I really do. So far it's an army, but... I haven't named the army yet, either!
Are there any anti-heros in your novel?
Yea-er-no... er... Kind of.
What point of view is it (first person, thrid person, alternating first person)?
Third person, though the prologue is in first person.
Is your plot planned, or random?
My ending is somewhat planned. The rest is random. Woo!
So, I'd love to see what you guys will answer. It's a nice distraction, believe me! =D
Oh, and even if you choose not to answer them, don't be afraid to at least drop a line! It'd be nice to hear from ya!

Heh Trish
Hope you are writing like crazy.
This is the tough time of the month to get distracted or lose momentum.
Pop out tonight to William Street Cafe, Chatham, if you need a boost. A bunch of us Nanos will be there commiserating or celebrating or bragging at 7 pm
Look for the yellow hat!

I'll answer your questions--though I am in faraway Edmonton. I thought I would check out a few other locales, as my dad grew up in Chatham--actually Kent Bridge--I am not sure if it even exists anymore--but I have cousins on a farm in Blenheim. Another cousin is a doctor in chatham. One is a published writer. I have no idea if she is doing this. I am not in touch.
jan
I'm fine--but zonked--makign lasagna and trying to write at same time
53--old enough to be your grandma
chocolate, maybe strawberry, never vanilla
second time doing nanowrimo-last year I only made it to 21K
no, I won't make it to 50-can't write much every day, I might make it to 40
I like this year's novel better than last year's
genre-fantasy/reality hybrid
Main character's name: Kenzie Kowalchuk
her boyfriend is Matt Ainsley
They have a Border collie cross named Rookie
secondary m/c-Grace Cadieux
also a woman named Brenda
My favourite character is Rookie the dog. So far Brenda is the main antagonist-but she is really just a pest
MC-she is teleported by accident to antoerh planet like Earth, but her old self is still on earth, but a younger version
Her bf hates the new version--doesn't realize she is gone--only the dog does.
yes, it is planned out but stuff happens that is not planned like Grace, a pilot who has also landed on the new planet, but now she is dead. Yikes.
Third person. This was fun--gotta go do laundry!
Bye!

Monica; ack, I wish I read this earlier! My parents were headed that way tonight and I could have dropped in! Ah, poosticks. And they took the truck so I can't drive out... but I'd love to be there, otherwise!
Jan; Hah, hey, you're furhter than I am! And your novel sounds really interesting, I don't think I've heard of any plot like it! I like the sounds of this dog too, haha. Thanks for answering the questions, it was neat to read :D
Fweh, and you're not THAT old. My Opa is practically 80! You've still got some growing up to do, girl, heehee!
Glad to get some feedback from people :D
And again, Monica, I'm sorry I can't make it out tonight. DX If there's ever another one don't be afraid to NaNo-mail me! :D
