Just wanted to remind you all that we will be having another write-in this Sunday, from noon onwards, at the Starbucks on New Street, Birmingham. So far this year they've been very successful, both in terms of the number of people turning up and the quantity of fiction churned out.
If you've been before you'll know what to expect - high word counts and Joni Mitchell on heavy rotation.
If you haven't, and you're worried about your word count, this could be a good opportunity to catch up, and also meet some fellow wrimos.
Look forward to seeing some of you on Sunday!
John.

3700 words today in three sessions - pretty good! And they took me over a difficult plot bump too, so I'm feeling very jolly.
I think I've done about 75% of my writing so far at the write-ins.

Still behind and another nice days total, 4,500 words or thereabouts. I was also oddly thrilled to be the official time keeper. I swear there's something wrong with me. At least I'm in the right company! Roll on next week although given my behindness (yes, that's a worddamnit) I'm tempted to do a midweek mini write-in.

The write-in yesterday really helped I was behind my total, and still am, but I got about 2/3000 words done in two sessions, it would have added a load onto my total but I forgot my USB stick so a lot of it was repeating what I had already written.
