Is anyone planning to attend besides myself?

What times? Is it posted on the schedule? I don't think I saw it on there...but then again, I'm quite tired so maybe I missed it. I have to work in the morning until the early afternoon, but if it's a little later in the day, i.e. post-1:30, I'd be more than happy to join ya. :)

Edit: Okay, I totally missed it on the Events thread...and I'm not sure how since it's mentioned a few times. There are just so many coffee shops in the area that I guess they get muddled in my head. Since the write-in starts at 2 pm, I'd love to be there. I've yet to attend one this year, which is sad. I'll try my best. Will there be a little sign saying "Wrimos gather here" or something? Just so we can identify each other. :)

You know, a sign would be an excellent idea. But cool. I was a bit worried that no one would show up. I look forward to writing with you!

I'm also planning on showing up. Getting away from easy access to my computer and work will be a good thing for my novel. Looking forward to meeting you. I'll be the Japanese person with the Neo. :)

Excellent. Same here - I'll be the twelve-year-old boy who isn't with (hopefully) a sign.

I'm such a lame-ass. But my family has been rather hectic lately (a medical...well, crisis, for lack of a better word) so I've been having to help out a lot. I tried to make it but my mom needed help with errands so I was a no show. :(

But since it's a regular thing, I'm going to pencil it in next Saturday. I need to be in an environment of other frantically behind writers to get me typing. lol

So who else is planning on being there next Saturday?

I'll be there, and frantically behind, so that should work out excellently. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of medical crisis?

I'm sorry I missed this thread.

As an ML I try to get to every write-in not at UCSC except for the regular one Sundays at Lulu Carpenter's. I do indeed have a little sign. I'm printing up some more at work today (my home printer seems to have bitten the dust after 7 years of loyal service).

By the way, I scheduled an evening write-in in Aptos. It's as late as I could manage, 5-7pm, which is definitely ideal for me since I work in Scotts Valley Monday afternoons. However, I hope people can be there at Pacific Coffee Roasting Company across the street from the public library.

I don't think I'll be able to make these evening write-ins, but they're a good idea.
