Charleston is still beating G'ville. From left to right:

Rank--Region--TotalWords--Average Words--Donations

184 United States :: South Carolina :: Charleston 644,484 14,647 $200.00
186 United States :: South Carolina :: Greenville 637,177 15,170 $75.00

It's good to note that the rank number goes all the way down to 349!

As a prior donor, I do encourage you to help keep this zany ride going for future generations. You can be a Cherished Friend for only $10.00 or an Extraordinary Helper for $25.00. If you can be a "Bringer of Life, Mover of Mountains, Shaper of Worlds" for a thousand bucks, then I want to talk to you about a conference scholarship :o)

Check out more options or make a donation at http://store.lettersandlight.org/home.php?cat=2&sort=price&sort_directio... You'll get something besides a tax receipt in return!

I know, I know, I haven't given yet. We're not in the loop with the paycheck thing yet. Give me time.

I always donate. I just haven't had a chance to check the couch cushions yet.

A question in your nerves is lit
Yet you know there is no answer fit to satisfy
Insure you not to quit
To keep it in your mind and not fergit
That it is not he or she or them or it
That you belong to.

I didn't get into the donation thing until my second year, and hadn't planned on doing it this year until the blasted urge to ignore the world around me and write, write, write! took over. If you don't see that halo over my name by the end of the month, feel free to publically humiliate me :o)

Good news: I think I'm going to hit 7,000 today. Considering I have to put in an offer on a house and go to *shudders* Wal-Mart to get forgotten T-Day fixins, that's fantastic!
