Just wanted to check in here and say that even though I no longer
live in Montana I wanted to let everyone there know that I've reached
my 50k!
I grew up in Billings and now live in Sydney Australia.
My parents are still there so part of my heart is too!
I've been watching you guys and you've all done fantastic!!!

Hi, I did it! Whoopee! Tthanks to the NaNoWriMo people, and to you, fellow Montanans and especially Flathead Valleylanders! It has been a super month. I think every novel I'll ever write will be done with this added to the process. First to gather about 100 or more ideas for scenes in the book, and then to blast ahead with a really crummy first draft.
Now that those are behind me, I can settle down and begin to finish the novel. It has been a joyful and frustrating voyage of discovery.

Made it today at 10 am. Selected a title,TWICE BETRAYED!, and registered the manuscript with the Writers Guild of America West (WGAw) Registry. It still needs some polish, but I am very happy with it. First thing though, is to vet it through my Mother (a first-time published author at 75 years of age--five years ago). She is my inspiration! Congratulations all fellow Montanans!
