Hello all,
I've been such a slacker, but I'm still going to try and pull it off, starting with the last Saturday write-in today at Noon at Barnes & Noble, Bailey Cove. B and I may be at Firehouse at 11:30 as well, for a little mid-day sustenance if anyone wants to look for us early.
You go guys!

Does B&N have electrical outlets? Please tell me they have electrical outlets! My computer battery will only last 15 minutes without a plug. :o(

Never mind. I called B&N and talked to a nice lady named Kathy. Their coffee area has no plug ins for us poor souls with decrepit lap tops. (Not complaining too much. I am lucky to have one at all) So I won't be making it today. Bummer!!!!
Good luck to you all. I'm going to go and break my MC's leg now. **insert evil laugh here**

Wow, I forgot about the write-in altogether. Life chaos. Sigh.
Hope it is going / went well for everyone!
My husband is trying to persuade me to a laptop, and it's enticing ... but you wouldn't believe how many ebay laptops are sold without power cords and with 15-min batteries. Hello! You can hardly test one with that!
Write on, folks! We're nearly there!

Wanda,
So sorry to hear you got a bum rap on the laptop situation. The B&N on University Dr. has no outlets, but there are at least two available at the B&N on Bailey Cove. One is between the counter and the windows and the other is down the wall from the counter as you walk toward the book shelves. So sorry you missed us. I didn't get back on line before we left, triple sighs.
Maybe tonight at ABC? Outlets galore and we will have our surge protector with multi-plug-ins available.
You go, GF,
Amy
