Would it be best to have it on the weekend after November is over? Sunday at The Watershed? A bit later than usual for me as I have some xmas overtime scheduled.

If you'll allow me to be stupid for a second, do you mean the 1st/2nd weekend, or the 8th/9th weekend? Either one's good for me (which makes the question a bit of a moot point, but hey).

Hmm.... I might be able to make Sunday... I'd hate to actually miss it. My mum is down for the weekend but she'll be leaving in the afternoon on Sunday so I could plausibly get there. If it were in the evening I'd almost certainly make it though, I imagine.

*Hates being wishy-washy about such things but must bow to the disorganisation of her parents*

I was thinking of the first weekend and Sunday is as good/bad for me as Saturday!

Well, I might attempt to attend this party, even after being absent for all the other write ins. NaNoWriMo was featured on BBC News this morning at about 7am, so my parents saw it, and I commented about all the write ins, and they actually sounded l ike they wouldn't mind taking me to one, so I shall try my best to make it! Is it the 1st or the 2nd?

I saw that! It was on just after 9am and it was a really rubbish article. They didn't even mention that it's called National Novel Writing Month, they just said "Oh look, lots of people are writing a book in November and no one can ever get theirs published." Very disappointed.

I will be able to make late Sunday afternoon. :)

I'm determined that I'm going to win, even if it means getting to the 50,000th word at the stroke of midnight on Saturday. Therefore I am definitely coming.

Yeah, none of my friends at school saw it, owing to the fact that I get up earlier than them... Ah well, I have glorious plans for next year's novel and school. Anyway, back on topic, what time Sunday afternoon? I'm checking my schedule and hoping my parents can get me there (which they can, I'm just checking when so I can arrive on time!)

I think Sunday 2nd December is edging into the lead. It will give us all of Saturday to say hi to the loved ones we have been passing over etc etc etc ... so what about a time ??? I doubt I can get there before 6pm ...

I'm in Gloucester this weekend, but my coach gets back to Bristol at 9pm. If it's on time, I could get to the Watershed for about 9.15. Will you all still be there?

Hi,

I hope a nice lot of you managed to make it to the Watershed. I will try to get there later but hope is fading fast. November seems to have been a string of crises and December is starting out that way too :o(

apologies for not going - it was cold & windy & my flatmate was watching Casanova on DVD - are these sufficient reasons?
And anyway my story's not finished yet! perhaps later I'll write some more of it...

Was it the David Tennant version? Because that's a completely acceptable reason xD

The David Tennant version was excellent, but I was also pleasantly surprised by the Heath Ledger one. Partly because it was still funny despite not having Tennant in it, and partly because it was shot entirely on location, with fabulous costumes. :-)
