There's also a one-day conference February 16, 2007 for Mystery Writers and Fans. It's co-sponsored by SW Writers and Croak & Dragger - that's the Albuquerque Chapter of Sisters-In-Crime. There are some cool looking workshops. There will also be an opportunity to pitch your work. Any mystery writers here?
Here's a link to the Croak and Dagger website. SWW doesn't have it on their website yet.

I am and I wanted to join sisters in crime but I could only afford one so I joined RWA because for sheer volume I write more romantic suspense than I do series mysteries. But I would be interested depending on the cost. Thanks for sharing. Conferences are a great deal. Pitching live can get you places you've only dreamed about.

Aj, just off the top of my head I think the c&d conference is $105 or so dollars for SWW members. Aren't you a member?
I don't write mystery but I'm thinking about going just for the workshops. They look interesting.

I'm not. It's a hundred and fifty a year for RWA and that's all I can afford.
