HI all
Okay, it is 3:22 am and this is usually the time I would be writing, or typing as the case maybe. Now unfortuanatly I have not only done the 50,000 words but also brought the story to a nend.
I am at a complete lose of what to do.
Is anyone else feeling the strain of total boredem after a frenzy of writing?
Anyone have any ideas of what to do?
Sue

Start writing something else?
Personally I'm looking forward to having my evenings back, and I think my boyfriend is as well!
I just need to conjure up the final three and a half thousand words from somewhere and I'll be done.

I know what you mean. Last year it was a relief to be finished and I just wanted a break from the writing. This year, although I've struggled with motivation the last few days, now that I'm done I find myself wanting to do more. My plan is to take a few days off, then to start the re-working that my novel so badly needs.

Last year there was utter relief and the intention to sleep for a week, not to mention work. This year is going to be strange when the elation of that purple bar fades to normal levels. I think I'm going to use the fact that I miss Nano to continue writing every day. I have a novel to finish from two years ago and the sequel to start, I have dozens of potential ideas thanks to 7th Sanctum - maybe if I can keep it up I will fly through Nano next year with weeks to spare...Maybe not but it's a worthy goal!

I've cut back on my writing since crossing the 50K mark though have added another 2K. Between tonight and tomorrow I plan on completing the story.
After that well I expect to spend more time reading as I have a huge pile to get through.

No, haven't got bored so far, still going at around 2000 words a day and will keep going until I'm happy that it's finished. Then start revising and see what I can make of it all.
