I'll go first! I have two choir concerts on the 8th of December. Come see Kokopelli (the youth choir) and Oran (my choir!) and Shumayela, the small adorable children, in concert for Wintersong! They are at 2 and 7 pm and they will be extremely excellent. Tickets are $13 students/seniors and $16 adults.
It'll be a really good concert and full of festive spirit! You guys should totally come out. Let me know if you want to come - if you buy tickets through me I get some moolah towards my fundraising requirement.

Oh, shameless self promotion - I love this.
I'm here today to promote me, myself and I - we would like to work for you! Do you and/or your significant other want to get out for an evening and need a babysitter? Do you really hate washing windows and folding laundry? Does Grandma need someone to do her grocery shopping for her? Do you need a personal assistant?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, I'm your gal.
Currently, I am in the process of becoming a Canadian Permanent Resident, but that does not enable me to actually work. There is no logic to the system whatsoever, considering the fact that there is a labor crisis in Alberta right now, but that's another rant entirely. :)
My available hours are from 4pm to 10:30'ish pm (depending on the location, as I mostly travel by mass transit and live in the West End), Monday through Friday. My wife sells kid's books through Usborne. If you're interested in throwing a party, you should let her know that you are, at kimkidbooks@gmail.com . She will come into your home and sell books to you and your friends. There are benefits to hosting a party - a certain amount of books at 30%.
